Sometimes, we ought to believe that miracles do happen! In a very competitive Supra year, girls coming from our workshop dominated this year’s Miss Supranational Japan 2017, with Yuki Koshikawa claiming the top title. Last November, Yuki was introduced to us by her friend and fellow Qanamy Girl, Erea Taira (Miss Universe Okinawa 2017) , in preparation for her stint at MUJ Chiba 2017. It was in the same workshop where we first met Misaki Hoshi, the eventual 2nd Runner-up, who came all the way from Singapore to train with us for her stint at MUJ Ibaraki 2017. Top 5 finalist and Miss Elegance winner Hitomi Sato was also in that same workshop for the very first time in preparation for MUJ Miyagi 2017.
While the MUJ system did not recognize these three beautiful ladies for their real worth, they became successful in the Miss Supranational Japan 2017 pageant. In fact, Hitomi Sato gained global exposure when she represented Japan at the Miss Eco International 2017 pageant in Egypt last month.
Meanwhile, Emiri Shimizu, who was last year’s 2nd Runner-up and a familiar face in Qanamy Workshop was adjudged 1st Runner-up. Kumi Miyamae, who joined our workshop on July last year, was Top 5 and winner of two special awards.
Other Qanamy Girls at Miss Supranational Japan 2017 are Aya Izaki (Top 10), Narumi Kawai (Miss Miyazaki), Yoshimi Nakamura (Miss Kochi), and the wonderful ladies from Kyushu: Rina Nagaoka (Miss Nagasaki), Mana Nishimura (Miss Saga) and Masumi Takeuchi (Miss Fukuoka), who joined our simple workshop last Feburary in Fukuoka.
